Bob Dugan, Jr. devoted more than four decades to leading Westport Glass and carrying forward the legacy established by his father. With 42 years of hands-on experience in the glass and mirror industry — though he’ll be the first to joke it feels closer to 112 — Bob guided the company through decades of growth while maintaining its reputation for craftsmanship, integrity, and personal service.
He earned both his Bachelor’s Degree and MBA from Rockhurst University, combining practical field experience with a strong foundation in business management. This balance helped him steward the company with his unique brand of discipline, consistency, and a long-term perspective.
A true hands-on leader, Bob spent many years working directly in the field while mentoring the next generation — including his sons, Brian and Sean, who now serve as co-owners. In recent years, he has stepped back from day-to-day operations but remains a proud supporter of the company and its continued success.
Outside of the business, Bob has long been passionate about coaching and mentorship. He coached his sons’ youth basketball teams to four consecutive city championships, reflecting the same teamwork, discipline, and leadership that guided his professional life.
