New homes and commercial projects across Lenexa, KS keep demand high for precise, custom glass work. Homeowners remodeling older houses and developers finishing new builds both need a trusted local partner to handle complex glass safely. Westport Glass & Mirror has proudly served the greater Kansas City metro area since 1947, earning a strong reputation for careful craftsmanship and great customer service.
Our newly remodeled design showroom at 625 Southwest Blvd sits about 20 minutes from most Lenexa neighborhoods by way of I-35. As the only Shower Door Co-Op member in the region, we hold ourselves to strict quality standards that high-volume assembly shops simply cannot match. We offer a full range of services, from frameless showers to commercial glass systems, for local property owners, interior designers, and general contractors.
The steady growth around Lenexa City Center and the many custom home additions on the west side set a high bar for interior finishes. Our skilled team brings 78 years of trade experience to every layout, helping you turn plain spaces into bright, eye-catching rooms.
Upgrading a master bathroom means balancing everyday water control with a clean, modern look. We design and install high-end custom shower enclosures, including minimalist frameless shower doors, space-saving pivot doors, sleek semi-frameless shower doors, and classic framed shower door enclosures. You can finish your layout with premium glass hardware in matte black, brushed nickel, or polished chrome to match your existing fixtures. We also offer privacy options like architectural rain glass and frosted finishes.
How we source and process glass sets us apart from standard suppliers. We install premium tempered glass from fabricators that hold the highest national safety certifications. Unlike shops that do basic in-house tempering just to meet the legal minimum, our shower panels offer stronger impact resistance and a consistent, even finish.
This level of quality matters in Lenexa's busy remodeling market. Homeowners in upscale areas like Bristol Ridge and Canyon Creek often invest in large master-bath expansions to build equity in their properties. We work directly with local home builders and independent interior designers as the area's premier custom shower door provider.
Adding large mirrors to a room instantly improves the light, adds a sense of depth, and creates a high-end look. We make high-quality custom mirrors in Lenexa, including large workout mirrors for home gyms, elegant vanity mirrors, custom interior glasswork, and unique mirror frames. We also handle custom cutting for backpainted glass walls, glass floating shelves, and protective glass tabletops.
An upscale look takes precise fabrication. A small measuring error can cause distortion or uneven gaps along your drywall. Our technicians use advanced cutting tools to get straight lines and smooth, polished edges on every mirror panel.
Modern neighborhoods across Lenexa, including Oak Park and Forest View, favor open floor plans that pair well with large floor-to-ceiling accent mirrors. Local designers often use our showroom at 625 Southwest Blvd as a hands-on resource. Our central location makes it easy for trade pros to send clients down I-35 to see antique silver patterns, heavy glass shelves, and custom polished glass tops in person under good lighting.
A temperature-controlled display room is the high point of luxury home design for serious wine collectors. We design and install custom glass wine cellars in Lenexa, including airtight glass enclosures, heavy glass wraps, and dramatic floor-to-ceiling wine displays. These features show off a private collection while keeping a clear view into formal dining rooms and kitchens.
Building a reliable glass wine cellar takes real experience, because the cold storage area and the warm living space create very different conditions. Our teams install heavy, double-paned insulated glass units with special compression gaskets and commercial-grade door closers. This tight seal stops condensation from forming on the outer glass, which protects your drywall and keeps bottle labels clean.
Luxury neighborhoods on the west side of Lenexa, including Canyon Creek Shores and The Enclave at Manchester Park, often call for dedicated wine displays in custom builds. Our 78 years of fabrication experience let us coordinate cleanly with mechanical contractors and custom home builders, so your climate system, framing, and glass all work together safely.
The big seasonal temperature swings across the metro area put steady stress on home windows. Freezing winter drafts followed by hot, humid summers make window frames expand and contract, which slowly breaks down the factory seals. We offer fast, dependable window glass replacement in Lenexa to restore your home's energy efficiency without the high cost of a full frame replacement.
Our technicians replace failed or foggy insulated glass units in double-hung windows, large picture windows, and heavy glass patio doors. Broken seals let damp outside air in between the panes, which causes permanent fogging and a full loss of insulation.
Our local teams swap out the inner glass directly, using high-performance glass with low-emissivity (low-E) coatings that block solar heat. This direct glass repair improves comfort in 1990s and 2000s neighborhoods like Trails West and helps owners keep monthly utility costs down.
First impressions matter for winning clients, so clear, secure storefront glass is a key asset for local businesses. We provide full engineering, installation, and storefront glass repair in Lenexa, KS for corporate facilities, property managers, and retail operators. We build complete storefront systems, heavy all-glass entrances, and custom commercial glass installations that meet strict safety standards.
Reliability is at the core of our commercial work. We know construction delays cost money, so our project managers hold to a simple rule: we show up when we say we will. Our crews handle large tenant build-outs, custom interior partitions, and heavy glass office walls, using strong tempered glass and durable security glazing.
Architectural glass adds safety and an open, light-filled feel to both indoor and outdoor spaces. We offer expert fabrication and installation for a wide range of specialty glass products across the city:
Multi-story homes and walkout-basement properties across west Lenexa often build these sleek glass panels right into their plans. As a single-source glass company near Lenexa, KS, we make sure every custom panel meets local building safety codes

Tucked into the heart of Johnson County in the Kansas City metro's southwestern suburbs, Lenexa blends small-town roots with one of the region's most polished modern downtowns. Once a railroad and spinach-farming town (it still bills itself as the "Spinach Capital of the World"), Lenexa today is anchored by its City Center district, a walkable hub of restaurants, shops, the popular Lenexa Public Market, and a year-round calendar of community events. With an award-winning parks system, easy access to I-35 and I-435, and a location just minutes from Overland Park, Shawnee, and downtown Kansas City, Lenexa makes a comfortable and convenient base for visitors and a genuinely livable spot for residents.
While trying to install new handles on a mirrored chest of drawers, I cracked the fronts of 3 drawers. We tried to find anyone who could fix our problem, but no one seemed interested. When we discovered this store, we took in a drawer with the crack lines. Four different employees came to look at it and together, they came up with a strategy to remedy our problem. They applied beveled mirror on top of the previous glass and we couldn't be happier with the results! In fact, we like the chest better now than its original appearance. It was the willingness to listen to our problem and take an interest in actually helping us. We are VERY GRATEFUL to Westport Glass & Mirror of KC for coming to our aid. We recommend them highly.
Westport Glass came recommended to me by a trusted bathroom remodel contractor. I couldn't be happier with the service of Westport Glass of Kansas City. All staff members I came in contact with were not only courteous, but extremely professional. I had been going through a very rough bathroom remodel, and Westport Glass really put the icing on the cake. My custom frameless shower glass is gorgeous. Every time I step in there I feel like I am in a fancy 5 Star hotel, I can't believe it is in my own house! Thank you Westport Glass! Would definitely recommend and use again in the future!
Writing this review because Westport glass deserves the credit for sending our small business over the top. I own a personal training studio, and as you know when working out, mirrors make all the difference in the world. Not only in correcting exercise form but also creating internal motivation as you can see the work you are doing and the results they are creating. Bob and Westport glass were quick to respond to our request for 300 sqft of mirrors to be installed, their turn around time to install and the overall Installation process was effortless and took less time than I anticipated. If you are in the market for mirrors or glass this company is hands down the best!
