A frameless shower warranty in Kansas City from Westport Glass covers workmanship for one year from installation, including faulty hardware, sweeps, seals, caulking, leaking, and sagging. The tempered glass carries a separate manufacturer defect warranty, while accidental breakage, scratches, and hard-water buildup are not covered.
Most warranty claims are assessed within a few business days, and covered hardware or seal repairs are typically completed in a single follow-up visit at no charge during the one-year coverage period.
"A warranty is only as good as the install behind it. We document every measurement and hardware spec, and we anchor load-bearing hardware into studs or blocking, so if a homeowner ever calls, we know exactly what's on their wall," says Brian Dugan, Fourth-Generation Co-Owner of Westport Glass & Mirror.

Westport Glass assumes no responsibility due to unforeseen conditions such as drilling into pipes that are behind walls, or in heated floors that are not properly documented.
Notes
Westport Glass enclosures are designed to withstand leaking under normal shower conditions. Excessive water pressure or shower sprays directed towards the door or opening do not represent normal shower conditions and can result in leaks.
- Do not use towel bars and handles as grab bars. They are not designed for this purpose and will not support your weight
- Vinyls and sweeps periodically will need to be replaced. After the warranty period you can purchase these through us and easily install them yourself or if you prefer, we can provide the service to you and additional service charge.
- Hard coat finishes on hardware may vary due to materials used. Hardware finishes may vary based on supplier batches or have a different shade due to the use of different substrates or materials used per application. This is to be expected and not covered under warranty.
- Every piece of tempered glass must have a permanent stamp or logo to signify that it is tempered glass. Westport Glass does not guarantee the location of the logo other than it will be located in the corner of glass.
- If installing a frameless steam shower enclosure, it is impossible for 100% steam retention since it is frameless.
