Westport Glass offers beveled edging on any piece of glass or mirror, whether the piece is rounded, curved, or straight-line!
The term “beveled” refers to the process of cutting the edges of a piece of glass or mirror to a specific angle and size in order to produce an elegant, framed look. This process leaves the glass thinner around the edges, while the large middle portion remains thicker. Beveling glass or mirror is normally applied to pieces where it serves as the focal point of a room.
The beveled edge around a piece of glass can range in size from 1/4” to 1-3/4”. The edges of the beveling can be determined by the thickness of the glass, which can range from 1/4" to 3/4":
Beveling can be applied to many glass applications, including (but not limited to):
-Beveled glass table tops (rounded or straight-line)
-Beveled glass table top protectors
-Beveled glass shelves
-Beveled framed mirrors
